Since 2015 much has been learned in the world of neurobiology as it pertains to neuroendocrinology, the science that links our nervous system to our hormones. The brain manufactures from cholesterol hormones that are referred to as Neurosteroids. These are structurally the same as those hormones produced below the neck and referred to as Neuroactive Steroids. This new lecture series puts the emphasis on the secondary phase of trauma that includes all the inflammatory cascades that disrupt and destroys the normal functioning of the brain.  There are 7 lectures in this series which will be offered as an on-line course for one low price.  This is due out by the 4th quarter of 2022.
