Selenium (Selenomethionine)
180 Count
Selenium (200mcg), which is nutritionally essential for humans, is a constituent of more than two dozen selenoproteins that play critical roles in reproduction, thyroid hormone metabolism, DNA synthesis, and protection from oxidative damage and infection. In the office we use it for slowing the conversion of Free Testosterone to DHT and to help lessen the production of abnormal T3 called reverse T3(rT3).
Our patients usually take 200mcg after breakfast and 200mcg after dinner.
