Laboratory Screening for Subconcussive Brain Trauma
This program is for children between 12 and 18 years of age only: Subconcussive trauma is associated with contact sports where there are no immediate symptoms which can develop over time and with additional traumas. This can be seen in heading the ball in soccer, football, rugby, wrestling, and all forms of martial arts. It can also potentially arise from water and snow sports which have very subtle jarring of the head (brain).
